New Elizabethans

     New Elizabethans

Laurence Olivier is the perfect new Elizabethan as his famous and idolised career of acting, producing and directing all relates to aspects of England and its culture at the time of Queen Elizabeth.
Oliver started playing Shakespeare roles on stage and showed a great passion for it as it turned into a 6 decade career of becoming the artistic director of the National Theatre which I have visited countless times.  He is remembered for directing and staring in Henry V, had a unique ability to speak Shakespeare like it was his first language leading to many oscars.
Olivier was invited to the Queen's Birthday Honours as Baron Oliver and was respected by many including the Prime Minister.
