Applying foundation.

  1. Colour match the colour to the neck/face
  2. Mix the colour chosen with Illamasquas primer
  3. First apply the foundation on the centre of the face then work out/ must be applied on ears, and neck as well
  4. Any imperfections such as blemishes and dark under eye circles can be covered with concealer.                                                                                                                     Use green concealer on red tones such as blemishes and redness on the face.                                                                                                                                                                                                     Yellow concealer is used to even out skin tone                                                                                                                                                                                                           Pink concealer is used to cover up any blue/purple tones such as dark circles.
  5. 5. The concealer has to be 1 to 2 tones lighter,  but at the same time blended in with the base.
  6. 6. Lastly everything should be blended in well, and set with a loose powder

The foundation matched my clients skin well and made her skin look glow which is what i was trying to achieve.
To improve i would tone and moisturise better as my clients skin was dry and the base clogged on to the dry parts even though i used an oil based product. Another way in which i would improve is, i would blend the product out better into the skin to give it a more natural look.
