Perfect Eye

                                     Perfect Eye

  • To begin with we looked at different eyeshades and identified which eye shape that our client had and what colours and shapes would suit their eye the best.

  • Start of with a base and concealer over the face and the eyes.

  • Use a lot of translucent powder on the eye lid and also underneath the eye. This is because the colours on the eyelid will be able to blend much easier and look neater and if there is any fallout underneath the eye you can brush it away easily without smudging it onto the base especially if it is grease based.

  • For health and safety reasons ask if the client wears any contacts and if so instead of powder under the eye use tissue to prevent fallout.

  • With a cotton wool hold the eye upwards so you don't pull the clients skin.

  • For the eyeshadow always start with the lightest colour and then move on to darker this is because it is easier to build up lighter colours than lighten up dark colours.

  • To highlight the eye place a light colour on the centre of the lid, tear duct and brow bone and to define the eye place the darker colour in the crease and underneath the lash line.

  • Feather through the eyebrows in case of any eyeshadow being stuck in there

  • For an even eyeliner flick you can use tape

  • For mascara with a disposable wand brush the eyelashes downwards first right into the roots

  • For men a clear or an old dried up mascara can be used just to define the lashes
